Zero Casualties in Schools is based on the highly acclaimed Violence Interruption Experience (VIE). VIE is a high-impact, experiential approach to attitudinal and behavioral change used with hardcore offenders in jails and prisons, high schools and colleges and universities, and many others (including the National Football League).

Services
Zero Casualties in Schools focuses on: (1) Prevention through the presentation of one hour workshops to high school and/or middle school students; (2) In-service training for teachers, staff, and/or others ranging from a half-day to three days; and (3)
Intensive VIE basic training (lasting up to four days) for violent, abusive, or unruly students who have been suspended, expelled, disciplinary problems, or involved in violence or abuse.
We also offer a VIE training of trainers to empower you to conduct this training on your own.
Projects
More than 100,000 people have been exposed to the VIE way of working, which is the foundation of Zero Casualties in Schools. VIE has been used successfully with inmates tied to hate groups, gangs, sex offenses, and violence. VIE has been used by Baldwin (MI) Public Schools, Columbus (OH) City Schools, Dayton (OH) Public Schools, Phoenix (AZ) Public Schools, and others- including over 50 colleges and universities.
VIE was called the “Real McCoy” by the Arizona Informant. VIE has touched thousands of lives, since 1994.
Zero Casualties in Schools
